More from Susan Hare, LMT:
“In 1999, I became a licensed massage therapist exclusively practicing Shiatsu- a form of Japanese Bodywork that interacts with the Human Energy System. My extensive understanding of this system is the foundation of all of my work and will forever be my passion. That said, in 2012 I became fascinated with sound and color therapy and after a deeply immersive training in Switzerland I began incorporating tuning forks and color silks into my hands on practice. By 2019, I was infusing crystal sound bowls and witnessing how they truly enhanced my one on one sessions. This lead me to explore sound baths for groups in 2020 via online meetups, and finally in person at my home studio in 2023.
I call these journeys Sonoluminous Group Tunings - Sonoluminescence is the use of sound to activate a spark of light. The intention of the session is to have the sounds from the instruments bring one to a deeply relaxed state opening the door to spark the light within, which simultaneously builds the light of the group…I believe in the ripple effect and that we will also grow the Light of Consciousness. It has been proven by quantum physics that everything is connected!”
